Kathryn McLaughlin

Counseling Graduate Student Intern. TRAINED IN EMDR.

I am in my final year of my Masters program in Clinical Mental Health
Counseling at Purdue University Fort Wayne. My undergraduate degree consists of a major in Human Services and a minor in Psychology. By day, I work for Erin's House for Grieving Children assisting children, teens and families who have suffered the death of a loved one. I work with all ages but thoroughly enjoy working with children and teens. I work with both individuals and groups. My areas of interest are grief and loss, anxiety, trauma, adjustment issues and career planning. I am certified in Suicide Prevention and Intervention, Gottman Couples Counseling Levels 1 & 2, and am a certified Safe Zone for LGBTQ+ Population. I am also trained in EMDR. I’ll be interning at Willow Center For Healing at very reduced cost. I look forward to meeting you!
