How I Can Help You
My intention as a mental health counselor is to provide a safe, compassionate space for clients to bring their whole selves and all their emotions into a place of processing, healing, and growth. I aim to see the strengths and potential in clients when they sometimes cannot see it in themselves, and to use those strengths to empower clients on their expressed therapy goals with the many steps to achieve those goals. I want my clients to feel seen, heard, accepted, and supported on their life journey. While I incorporate counseling interventions that are clinically-proven and based on a shared human psychology, I bring my authentic, unique self to the room so clients can bring their authentic, unique selves as well.

I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Huntington University in 2023. Currently, I have an associate license, working toward full licensure in the state of Indiana. Before I was a therapist, I was a middle school music teacher, and I still maintain my passions for music and teaching through individual voice and piano lessons as a side-hussle. My own mental health journey, as well as the global mental health challenges from the COVID pandemic, inspired me to make a career change to invest in the mental health of my community.
Along with music, my interests include reading, movies, live theater, traveling, being outside, and playing games (Nintendo Switch, board/card games, and The New York Times daily puzzles). I enjoy quality time with friends and family, especially when we get to laughing really hard.
