How I Can Help You
Starting therapy can be a daunting and uncomfortable experience. However, I believe that therapy can be different. I provide a safe and empathetic space where we can use humor, art, and other outlets to process your past and work towards a more fulfilling future. You are the expert in your life - not me. Therefore, I believe in letting you define the problem and helping you grow in your skills to manage those concerns. My specialization is in working with trauma, especially sexual, relationship, and parental trauma. Additionally, I frequently work with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, grief/loss, body dysmorphia, and gender/sexuality concerns. I utilize EMDR, Internal Family Systems, DBT, and Person-Centered therapies in my work. If you are looking for a therapist who can empower you, advocate for you, and help you heal the wounds holding you back, I am the therapist for you.

I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I earned my undergraduate degree in Human Services from Purdue University before completing my Masters in Social Work at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. The field of Social Work has always drawn me in due to my deep love of helping people. I love learning and implementing new methods with clients to help them find their spark. I am constantly amazed by people's resilience, and I never lose sight of how lucky I am to be entrusted with their stories.
When I am not working, I enjoy playing with my dog, being outdoors, and reading books. If I am not reading, you will find me listening to music of almost any genre. I love crafting either with my Cricut or resin as well as painting. I am a lover of board games and video games, often spending my weekends playing against my partner and my best friend. I am a self-proclaimed nerd and have no shame about it.
